Group Program
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
Our beautiful 12 acre campus has the ultimate "camp feel" during the warmer weather. This eight week program offers school-aged students an enriched summer experience with plenty of time outside. Using evidence-based teaching strategies, educators challenge students to explore their strengths, find new ways to learn, build friendships, participate in cooperative games and physical activities, all with a big emphasis on having fun!
Our Summer Program is ideal for students who will benefit from structured learning to maintain skills and learn new skills during the break from school.
What to expect:
Throughout the Summer Program students explore a wide variety of outdoor activities (including yoga, hiking, water play and group games) and indoor activities (art projects, hands-on experiments, quiet games and computer coding). Each week has a different theme and special focus a particular sport, social skill and mindfulness technique.
The days are filled with opportunities for students to learn and practice important social skills including teamwork and cooperation, play skills, social problem solving, positive body language, active listening, compromise, being a good friend and developing a growth mindset.
Activities are tailored to meet the needs and learning interests of the students in each group to ensure maximum enjoyment and participation.
Program Groups:
Students are grouped by age, academic grade and skill level. After meeting the student during an intake meeting, our clinical team with determine which group is the best fit. Fees are based on support ratio (details below) not group placement.

1. Discoverers - Kindergarten and Primary level students
2. Challengers - Junior and Intermediate level students
3. Explorers - Functional Academic level students

Goals and Objectives:
Parents will participate in an intake meeting to guide the development of their child's goals for the summer. Goals for students in the Summer Program will vary greatly to meet the unique needs of each student but could include:

Responding to and/or initiating play with others

Developing self-regulation skills

Participating and learning new gross motor skills related to sports, games and physical activities

Numeracy and literacy skills

Social-emotional learning and social pragmatics

Increasing self-advocacy and leadership skills

Typing and technology skills

​SLP and Occupational Therapy goals can be integrated into programs goals as needed
Supervision and Reports

The Summer Program is supervised by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).

Our team will complete a comprehensive assessment with each student at the beginning of the session.

Assessment results will be shared with parents and will help guide the development of the student's goals.

Parents will also receive a Progress Summary Report part-way through and at the end of the session.
Dates and Fees:

The Summer Program runs from July 2 – August 23 (8 weeks).

Drop off is at 8:45am. Pick up is at 3:15pm. Before and After Care is available for an additional fee.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your child's spot in the Summer Program.

Fees are based on the level of support your child requires to succeed during the summer program as determined by our clinical team during the intake meeting.

Fees for the Summer Program can be covered using OAP Funding (i.e. Access OAP, childhood budgets, Interim one-time funding etc.), private or charitable funds.

How to Register:

Registration Changes and Cancellations
The deposit is non-refundable.
